Lake Somerset is a private access, man-made lake located near Somerset Center, MI, near the intersection of US12 and US 127. Lake Somerset is a popular area for year-long lake residents, which may be due to the fact that it is an equal distance between Adrian, Jackson and Hillsdale.
Attractions
- Meckley’s Flavor Fruit Farm in Somerset Center is a great place to get donuts, cider and fresh produce during certain seasons. They also make their own hard cider!

- McCourtie Park is a popular destination for picnicking, an afternoon walk or giving Fido some room to run. It’s also a popular place to take photographs due to its unique handcrafted cement bridges.
