This man-made, private lake is composed of both north and south areas, and situated just outside of Somerset Center, Michigan. It’s a popular area for year-round living, as it is conveniently located within 30 minutes of Jackson, Adrian and Hillsdale.

• Hit the links at Lake LeAnn Golf Course in Jerome. The grounds are perfect for golfers of all levels and a fun way to spend a south Michigan summer day.
• Go Ziplining or hike the trails at Somerset Beach Campground. What better way to spend a Saturday then by souring almost 800 feet through the air?
• Meckly’s Flavor Fruit Farm in Somerset Center is full of family fun all year long, but especially during their fall festival during September and October.
• Hidden Lake Gardens in Tipton boasts a 755-acre arboretum and botanical garden, perfect for hiking with beautiful scenery. Walking and car paths are available throughout much of the grounds.

While you’re living the lake life, you definitely need to try the seafood at The Deck Down Under in Jerome. For a fun night out with the family, stop by Saucy Dog’s, or head across the street with friends for a delicious meal at Olivia’s Chop House, both located in Jonesville. There are no shortages of specials at The Cedars, also in Jonesville, where they are well-known for their Friday night fish.
